ANDAMAN PARTNERS is seeking an experienced Senior Management Consultant to join our team at ANDAMAN Advisory as an Engagement Manager, responsible for leading complex client engagements across strategy, procurement, operations and organisational transformation initiatives. The role spans project delivery, client leadership, problem-solving and implementation support across multiple industries. Direct and deep experience within mainstream management consulting is needed for this role.
This role will report to the Director, ANDAMAN Advisory. The successful candidate will oversee and develop consulting teams, manage day-to-day client relationships and ensure high-quality delivery across engagements.
This is a key addition to our team as we strengthen our management consulting capabilities across global markets. The successful candidate will lead structured problem-solving, develop actionable strategic recommendations and support clients in driving operational improvement, organisational effectiveness and long-term value creation. The role requires strong analytical thinking, team leadership and the ability to work directly with senior executives in dynamic and complex environments. A minimum of 12 years with a leading global management consulting firm would be expected.
- Client Engagement Leadership: Lead end-to-end consulting engagements, managing project execution, client communication and delivery quality.
- Strategic Problem Solving: Structure complex business challenges, conduct analysis and develop practical, data-driven recommendations.
- Operational & Procurement Advisory: Support clients across procurement, supply chain, operations, sourcing and transformation initiatives.
- Team Leadership & Development: Manage and mentor consulting teams, ensuring high performance, capability development and effective execution.
- Executive Communication: Prepare and deliver senior-level presentations, workshops and strategic recommendations to client leadership teams.
- Implementation Support: Work closely with clients to translate recommendations into executable initiatives and measurable business outcomes.
- Research & Insights: Conduct industry, market and company analysis to support strategic decision-making and client advisory work.
- Innovation & Analytics: Leverage advanced analytics, AI tools and structured consulting methodologies to enhance insight generation and project delivery.
- Education: MBA or Master’s in Engineering.
- Experience: 15 years of professional experience in the mining industry, supply chain and procurement strategy.
- A minimum of 12 years with a leading global management consulting firm would be expected.
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent quantitative, research and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver high-quality output in fast-paced environments.
- Strong client management and stakeholder engagement capabilities across senior organisational levels.
- Demonstrated leadership ability, including experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- High level of professionalism, commercial judgement and execution focus.
- AI literate, with the ability to leverage advanced tools and analytics to enhance problem-solving and delivery.
- Ability to work effectively across diverse cultures, backgrounds and time zones.
