Role Overview

ANDAMAN PARTNERS is seeking an experienced Investment Analyst to join our Investment Team, with responsibility for tracking and analysing global public markets. The role spans equity, fixed income, commodity and foreign exchange markets and related derivative markets.

This role is central to strengthening our investment capabilities across global markets. The successful candidate will directly influence portfolio performance, risk management and long-term value creation. The candidate will provide actionable insights, support investment decisions and contribute to portfolio strategy in a dynamic, complex environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Analysis: Monitor and evaluate global equity, bond, commodity, FX and derivative markets.
  • Research & Insights: Produce in-depth research reports, forecasts and scenario analyses to inform investment strategy.
  • Portfolio Support: Provide recommendations on asset allocation, risk management and hedging strategies.
  • Quantitative Modelling: Develop and maintain sophisticated models to assess market trends, valuation and risk.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align investment views with broader corporate objectives.
  • Innovation: Leverage advanced analytics and AI tools to enhance decision-making and improve investment processes.
Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Engineering; MBA required.
  • Experience: 8-10 years of professional experience in investment research, trading or portfolio management across global public markets.
Required Skills and Attributes
  • Highly analytical with strong problem-solving ability.
  • Sophisticated quantitative and modelling skills.
  • AI literate, with the ability to apply advanced tools to investment analysis.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of translating complex insights into clear recommendations.
  • Proven ability to operate in fast-paced, multi-market environments.
  • Ability to handle pressure, work with tight deadlines and multitask effectively.
